My first DIET....

Ok... I have to tell you. I am 5 3 and always weigh in at 105- 110. I love love love to eat and drink. Living life to the fullest... I will eat anything at any time of the day. I have been known to never worry about my weight..as I run and do Yoga. Let's face it I have been blessed....Worrying about food.. no way.... WELLLLLL turning 38 and twins has changed everything. This summer - I did my usual traveling, eating, drinking and being merry. Weighing in at 121.5 - I have gone up two bra sizes and look like there is a baby in my belly. So this leads me to my new adventure. The Smart for Life -Cookie Diet. I have had numerous friends do it. Has anyone done it? The cookies are organic. I just have to eat six of them and then dinner. Minus my usual "lemon" water and wine. No natural sugar- no lemons!
Two weeks- how hard can this be? So here it goes, any suggestions???
This picture above is borrowed from Hamptons and is my inspiraion!!

  1. I have never had to worry about my weight either..., and don't seem to put any on no matter how many pints of Ben and Jerry ice creme I eat, never had kids though. I never have been on a diet plan -I'd rather just eat healthy vegis and fruit. Oh, there is one place where I lost weight..., during a three months meditation retreat, because the last meal was served at noon. No dinner!

  2. It doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about to begin with! But a diet of cookies, how bad could that be!

  3. I have never been on a diet either but in prep for my daughter's wedding I am now. I am doing Weight Watchers online. It is so easy. I started 1 week ago and have lost 4 pounds. My daughter started on it in March and has lost 34 pounds. Can't argue with that. I only want to lose maybe 10 pounds. I will let you know how it goes. Hope your diet is successful!

  4. I love the blog and love Eloise! You have 2? So jealous. Too cute. I am trying to be more active so I don't have to diet. and I have cut out the diet coke which oddly enough made me lose about 3lbs! Seriously a diet of cookies? Sounds intriguing...

  5. I have seen that diet advertised but don't know anyone who's done it. It sounds like my kind of thing though. Great inspiration!

  6. I just read about the cookie diet a few months ago and decided I would go on it to lose baby weight (after we get pregnant that is). I'm exactly like you and have been blessed with good jeans and long limbs. I plan on keeping it that way.

  7. What do the "cookies" taste like?? I am still trying to lose about 20 lbs since the baby... who by the way is 22!! God help me!! Good thing I can laugh or I'd cry. I think I am on the edge... I have got to do something or else. I do yoga but really hate other exercise, but I am getting to it!! I am about 5'3 and weigh like 160 :-( Pray for me!!

  8. OK... I only ate four cookies..need to eat two more. They taste better when you heat them up in the microwave. I don't know how I am going to do this for two weeks. I guess the first day is the hardest. I had two egg whites and tons of baked zucchini(sprayed with grapeseed oil). For dinner I had steamed shrimp, salad and chicken. Only suppose to have 12 ounces of protein...but a girl has to eat. How am I going to watch the Atlanta Housewives with out wine???? HELP!!

  10. I'm doing the bee pollen thing- so far so good- cut out the caffeine and sugar and htis keeps me 'awake' during the day- and if you eat fatty foods or too many carbs it acts as a 'flusher'- if you know what i mean :)

  11. I am the same size as you (5'3") and usually weigh about 105...I have creeped up to about 110 and then I started juicing. It is really healthy and it helps. I juice every morning in lieu of breakfast. Then I still eat what I want the rest of the day...it works.
